Carnegie Hall's mission is to present extraordinary music and musicians on the three stages of this legendary hall; to bring the transformative power of music to the widest possible audience; to provide visionary education programs; and to foster the future of music through the cultivation of new works, artists, and audiences. Carnegie Hall is made up of three great stages: the Isaac Stern Auditorium, the largest of the three halls; the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Recital Hall, an intimate auditorium; and the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall, a versatile auditorium with alternate stage configurations of different capacities. Each year over 50,000 students and teachers learn more about music at Carnegie Hall, through a variety of programs for the education community.
